The idea behind Outline Lab.
A letter can look right in isolation and behave differently in a word. Inspection needs to connect contour geometry with spacing and the behaviour of a real font.

Outline inspection exposes the shape behind the rendered letter, making geometry easier to discuss and compare.

Test in context
Spacing and OpenType behaviour matter alongside the contour. The workbench explores these as parts of one font.
